Day 1: Sightseeing tour of Ashgabat, visiting the National Museum of History and Ethnography, the archaeological site Old Nisa from the Parthian period(ca.129 BC-224 AD), and the Spiritual Mosque and Mausoleum of Turkmenbashy. Overnight Ashgabat.
Day 2: Drive to Bakharden underground lake. En route visit the famous Ahalteke horse stud farm. Overnight Ashgabat.
Day 3: Visit Tolkuchka bazaar, the largest open air market in Central Asia. (Held Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays only). Drive to Darvaza and experience the extraordinary gas crater known as 'The Gates of Hell'. Overnight in tents.
Day 4: Early morning transfer to Kunya Urgench. View mausoleums of Turebek Khanym,Sultan TekeshIl Arslan, Najmad-din-Kubra, Sultan Ali. View the Kutlug; Timur minaret and Kyrk Molla.Transfer to Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan border point.Continue to Khiva, about 2.5 hours.

Tour#2: 5 Days Bukhara-Mary-Merv-Gonur-Ashgabat-Khiva
Day 1: Bukhara - Mary After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan check-point 'Farap', complete border formalities, cross the neutral territory (800m), be met by Turkmen partners, drive to Mary (4 hours). Visit museum and bazaar. Overnight Mary.
Day 2: Mary - Gonur - Mary Drive to Gonur, a bronze age site dating from the 3rd century BC. It is deep in the desert and 100 kms from Mary. Return to Mary and visit the History Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Mary - Merv - Ashgabat Drive to Merv, one of the most ancient cities on the Silk Road. Explore the historical sites including Sultan Kala, Sultan Sanjar mausoleum, Mukhammed ibn Zayd mausoleum, remains of 6th-7th cent castles 'Keshk'.Drive to Ashgabat, 350 km (optional flight). On the route discover Abiverd site remains. (It is also possible to fly to Ashgabat from Mary. You could then visit the remains of the medieval mosque in Anau, 12 kms from Ashgabat).
Day 4: In Ashgabat Sightseeing in Ashgabat with visits to the National Museum of History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan, the archaeological site “Old Nisa” from the Parthian period, the Spiritual Mosque of Turkmenbashi, and the Carpet Museum.
Day 5: Ashgabat - Dashoguz - Kunya - Urgench - Khiva First flight to Dashouz. Continue drive to Kunya Urgench. Visit Kunya Urgench historical site (Mausoleums of Turebek-Khanym, Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Il Arslan, Najmad-din-Kubra, Sultan Ali. Discover the Kutlug Timur minaret and Kyrk Molla. Return drive to Dashouz. Transfer to Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan check point. Continue to Khiva, about 2.5 hours.

Day 1: Dashoguz-Kunya Urgench-Ashgabat Meeting at the border check point Dashoguz. (We can arrange transport from Khiva in Uzbekistan to this check point, about 2.5 hours by car). Formalities. Drive to Kunya Urgench in Turkmenistan. Visit Kunya Urgench historical site (Mausoleums of Turebek-Khanym, Sultan Tekesh, Sultan Il Arslan, Najmad-din-Kubra, Sultan Ali. Discover the Kutlug Timur minaret and Kyrk Molla. Drive back to Dashoguz then fly to Ashgabat (Boeing 717, 50 min flight). Arrival and check into hotel.
Day 2 : Sightseeing in Ashgabat Sightseeing in Ashgabat with visits to the National Museum of History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan, the archaeological site 'Old Nisa' from the Parthian period, the Spiritual Mosque of Turkmenbashi and the Carpet Museum.
Day 3: Early morning flight to Mary followed by city tour and visit to the museum. In the afternoon drive to Merv, one of the most ancient cities on the Silk Road. Explore the historical sites including Sultan Kala, Sultan Sanjar mausoleum, Mukhammed ibn Zayd mausoleum, remains of 6th-7th C castles 'Keshk'. Drive back to Mary.
Day 4: Drive to the Turkmen-Uzbek border point Farap. (About 4 hours) Complete formalities and border crossing. Continue to Bukhara (We can arrange transport from the Uzbek border to Bukhara).
